The highlight film is the main piece created by Thomas James Media. It details the events of the day in a concise way and is intended to showcase the range of emotions felt by the wedding party and guests of the day. The length of these films are determined by the package chosen, as well as the amount of footage captured on the day, all of which can be customised to suit your needs.
All packages include high quality audio recordings of ceremony and speeches which will be used in the highlight films.
All music used within the film edits have been paid and licensed to Thomas James Media. It is illegal to use music in your film without proper licensing. Therefore, most popular music cannot be used. But don’t worry, I’ll make sure the songs that are chosen are perfect for your film.
I have a drone and do fly it. If you would like to have some drone footage in your wedding film please let me know when you fill in your contact form and we can talk about how we will include it in your package.

Yes I do! Travel 1 hour or less from Newcastle, NSW or Wollongong, NSW is included in all packages. Anything over that may incur a travel fee and possibly accommodation costs. Contact me to have a chat about this and see some prices.
Of course you can! Picking a videographer is a big deal and you need to make sure you’re comfortable with the person that will be there with you for the whole day on one of the biggest days of your life.

I will travel anywhere if you want me to be there with you on the big day- and I’m free.
I’m currently living on in the beautiful Hunter region of NSW. I spend a lot of time around the Shoalhaven area as well, and have somewhat of a base set up there too.
I do not charge travel for anywhere in a 1 hour radius of these two stunning parts of the world. A lot of my weddings are located on the South Coast (Terara, Jervis Bay), Kangaroo Valley, Wollongong and the Hunter Valley.

Generally, I will have it to you by 2-3 months after the wedding, but can be longer if we are in peak wedding season. In saying that, I am not one to rush these things, and if I can’t find the right edit I will work tirelessly until I have found the perfect one that tells your unique story.
I don’t like to put a time frame on these things. You will, however, receive updates from me, and little social media snippets will pop up on Facebook/Insta, showing how gorgeous you look from time to time.

This edit showcases the full ceremony. This option is perfect for couples who have loved ones that, unfortunately could not make it on the day. I have two cameras recording the proceedings and move them as needed so I don’t miss any of the action. For the best results, I also attach a small lavalier microphone to a member of the wedding party, as well as the celebrant.
Much like the full ceremony edit, I will cut together all of the speeches. Again, I use two cameras, one fixed on both of you, the other on the speaker. I also strive to get audience reactions whenever possible, as well as record high quality audio.

Want me to have a buddy on the day? Get multiple perspectives with an extra videographer. Having an extra videographer means more of those special intimate moments are captured, and gives me more footage to work with in the editing room.

Upgrade the length of your final highlight film. You can upgrade from 6 minutes in the base package to anywhere from 8 to 20 minutes.
